Hitler conquering once again!
After Blitzkrieg in Poland, Russia continues to take over parts of Europe while supplying the German militia with weapons and ammunition. As 1940 begins, the Germans triumph over even the most prestigious nations. These include Denmark, Norway and France. The control over France had them forced to surrender in 6 weeks. The Battle of Britain was an agonizing battle that lingered on with bombings every night from September 7 to November 2. “Britain was now badly outgunned by the Germans across the channel--Hitler expected them to come to terms, but they rallied around Winston S. Churchill--rallied the British very effectively, but in the war they lost their empire and their place as a world power”(Schaffer, 1).15,000 Britains died from the bombings. December 18, 1940, the Germans prepare to invade the soviet union, however a few months back Hitler had to come to mussolinis rescue after being pushed back by Greece. It is June 22, 1941 with now entering the Soviet Union. Quickly Russia had been playing defense against Hitler. The frigid winter had the German generals begging for escape from Russia but they had to keep expanding. The summer of 1942, with Germany moving south into Russia, they had reached the Caspian Sea. Hitler had created the largest stretch of his empire.
